About Us

Our Philosophy

We believe in providing a safe, enjoyable, active learning environment for children to learn, explore, discover, problem solve and socialize. We believe in empowering children and supporting the uniqueness of each individual.

Our Curriculum

We provide developmentally appropriate activities that encourage creativity, problem solving, critical thinking, and teamwork. We feel that children learn best by DOING and we offer a hands-on, enjoyable, educational environment. Our classroom learning centers allow children to make choices, to create, and to explore the world around them!

Our Teachers - Sara LaCroix and Linda Yost
We have a unique mother-daughter teaching team that combines education with life experience. This sets a postive relationship example for the children to observe. Linda and Sara have been teaching preschool together since 2002. Both are CPR/ First Aid Certified and Sara holds a BS degree in Child Development.

Sara LaCroix:
BS degree in Child Development and International Studies
CPR/ First Aid Certified (expires 5/2012)
Working in child care field since 1998; including positions ranging from Infant Caregiver to Center Director
Attended WAEYC Conference in Bellevue, WA in 2005 and 2009
Completed 20 hours WA Stars Basic Training and Ongoing Education of 15.5 hours for 2005

Linda Yost:
CPR/ First Aid Certified (expires 5/2012)
Lead Preschool Teacher since 2002
Attended WAEYC Conference in Bellevue, WA in 2005 and 2009
15 years experience as a Fitness Instructor/ Evaluator
Former Cub Scout & Girl Scout Troop Leader and School Volunteer
